Very easy to install in only a couple of minutes and feels much nicer than the original handles. The knurled grip pattern is a nice touch, but having a thicker handle has been the most notable improvement for me personally.
Trakhandles are some of the best D handles out there, but let's be honest, the grips themselves are not. Darko's upgrade kit finally turns them into the best of the best. Don't worry about losing the smoothness of the original handles, Darko's kit re-uses the bushings and steel core. Yes they are PLASTIC (like the original), but they have never squeaked nor have I been worried about them breaking, due to the steel core. The feel of the original handles is not only preserved, it's upgraded.
When you said knurled handle upgrade replacements, I expected them to be aluminum or steel. I was greatly disappointed to find out they are plastic. And they feel like cheap plastic at that. I can't believe that I just paid $60 for cheap plastic handles. These handles are not an upgrade. I won't be installing mine. I feel like I got ripped off.

I’m sorry to hear the Grip Upgrade Kit didn’t meet your expectations. Please note that we do list in the product description that these handles are 3D-printed. While they aren’t metal, they were designed to deliver a knurled feel, allow full color customization, and keep the weight manageable as many customers like the lightweight feel of the Trak Handles.
