The Barbell Anchor

I’m a bit lazy and don’t want to drag my safety squat bar out of the rack every time I am done using it and doing something else. Additionally, it takes up too much space in my basement. The bar anchor is a simple solution to that problem. It is just the right size and very high quality.

I don't have the ceiling height in my basement necessary to store my barbell "on-end." The Barbell Anchor is a perfect solution to get my barbell up and out-of-the-way in seconds when I am not using it. Much better than hassling with relocating J-hooks that I'd prefer to have stay in the positions I need them at for weight training. The Anchors are well made, attractive, and integrate well with my REP rack.

I have short ceilings in my basement gym and my Olympic bar wouldn't fit in the Rep plate stand I have. Mounting this on my T2 rack is the best compromise.

I appreciate the flexibility from Darko when I realized I didn't put in the right rack information on my original order, but a quick email fixed that right up. Go ahead and add this to your cart my friends! No Regerts!

I placed my order and received the auto-reply that I would be notified when my order was shipping. After a week I hadn't heard anything so I sent an email asking for a status. The reply stated that orders take 2 to 4 weeks to ship. What a disappointment. My order shipped 4 weeks later. I wish I had known this upfront and they shouldn't charge your card until they shipped the order.

I am a big fan of the anchor, it does exactly what it is supposed to do. The only thing I would change is the thickness of the steel. It is not flimsy by any means, but I was expecting it to be a little heftier. It does feel light, but that in no way affects the function of the product.
