Fantastic build quality. Came basically flawless out of the box with great tolerance on all the joints and my Rogue rack. Very minimal movement when pulling up on the squat. Thick gauge metal with a smooth textured finish. Awesome custom mag pin for the angle selector.
Using it paired with Rogue ballistic blocks, I can get beyond full depth on a belt squat now. Also seems ideal to flip around and place high on the rig for a pull-down setup.
Highly recommend for those with a Voltra.
I have an 83-inch rack in a basement gym. The Nessie places my VOLTA I just below the ceiling for full stretch for lat pull downs, etc. It also places the VOLTA on the floor for belt squats. I think its current light weight is more important, but it could be nice if VOLTRA mounts could be placed on the side of the arm to extend the width of the rack for flys if you have two VOLTRAs and two Nessies. It does work as it is though it seems like an odd angle for the cable with the VOLTRA facing either up or down but it does seem to work (I only have one of each).
Really solid and well manufactured piece of kit. Love the functionality in our gym environment and gives us scope for things such as belt squat. Darko team answered all of our questions before hand around use and helped with ensuring we selected the correct pin sizes.
Great image of Nessie on the kit too!!
The ordering process was simple, it looks great and it does exactly what I wanted it to. Used one shim that was nicely included and it fits my Monster pretty cleanly. 10 out of 10 for style points and still awesomely functional. Can't recommend Darko or the Nessie more highly.
I use the nessie with my voltra for about six exercises! The best thing is that I can use it for belt squats because it gets the voltra very low to the floor this allowing me a greater range of motion. And because of the large adjustable range of position, all I got to do is just rotate it and I get the best possible angle for any from rows, curls, pulldowns, pressdowns, etc etc etc! With all the many possibilities of usage the price per exercise comes way way down!
